Personalized ratings
SkiBum's dynamic rating system is proprietary: it weights reviews from skiers with a similar ability level and comparable conditions — so the score you see is tailored, not just an average of everyone.
See runs rated by skiers like you, in conditions like today.
Suggested similar skiers
People who ski your mountain
Sign in, open Friends, and tap Suggested similar skiers. Matches use shared resorts, run difficulty — green, blue, black, double black — and the tags on your reviews: trees, bowls, moguls, groomers, powder, scenic, air. Message them before you're friends. Send or accept the friend request in the chat.
Shared resorts
Same hills count. If you both keep reviewing Vail or A-Basin, that's a match.
Same difficulty
Green, blue, black, double black. A green-run skier doesn't get dragged onto a double black.
Style tags
Trees, bowls, moguls, groomers, powder, scenic, air. Those tags are the whole list.
Fewer than 3 reviews and the page does not invent people. It tells you how many more runs to review.
Posts you can actually send
Chairlift talk. Short. Specific.
- Instagram: Sign in. Open Friends. Tap Suggested similar skiers. Same resorts, same pitch — green, blue, black, double black — and the same tags: trees, bowls, moguls, groomers, powder, scenic, air. Under 3 reviews, it says how many are left. No fake crew.
- TikTok: Review the runs you actually ski. SkiBum suggests people on your resorts and your lines. Message them before you're friends: "Trees at 10?" Send or accept the request in the chat.
- X: Suggested similar skiers lives on Friends after you sign in. Shared resorts, difficulty, and style tags. Fewer than 3 reviews? It tells you how many more to write. Then chat, and send or accept the friend request in the thread.

Our mission
Built by skiers, for skiers
SkiBum is the Colorado ski app for honest run reviews, interactive resort maps, and a community that helps you find the best lines — Epic, Ikon, and independent mountains.
Know the mountain
Browse runs by difficulty, elevation, and live community ratings before you drop in.
Real reviews
Crowd, length, and difficulty scores from skiers who were actually there.
Community first
Friends, leaderboards, and badges — the social layer skiing has been missing.
Our story
We started SkiBum because finding the right run still meant guessing from outdated trail maps and word of mouth. Colorado deserved a dedicated guide — not a generic travel app.
Today we cover resorts across the state with Supabase-backed data, elevation profiles, and maps you can use on desktop or mobile.
Whether you chase groomers or hike-to stashes, SkiBum helps you plan smarter and ride more.
